Dior Forever Skin Correct concealer review
The product description on the Dior website reads "Dior creates Forever Skin Correct, all-in-one 24h wear extreme skincare and concealer. In a single sweep, this multi-use concealer hides undereye circles, localized redness, blemishes and imperfections without settling into facial lines, for a flawless complexion from morning to night."
Also according to the Dior website the benefits of this product are "Coverage is buildable: from light – applied locally – to full – all over the face. Signs of fatigue fade away.
Enriched with wild pansy extract, this 24h* of concentrated skincare smooths and moisturizes skin for a refined appearance. The quality of the complexion progressively improves."
I have combination skin and I brought this product in the shade 1,5N.
I give this product 3 out of 5 stars the reasons for this are as follows:
Although it says that the coverage is buildable, the coverage of is quite light and when I applied it on my undereye it took a total of 3 layers to effectively conceal the darkness. It did however offer better coverage on blemishes as when I applied it on a large blemish it concealed it properly after I applied 2 layers.
The formula left soothing and refreshing and it had a lovely fresh scent.
It mostly lasted the whole day.
It did feel moisturizing when I applied it.
I noticed a small difference in my skin quality in the areas where I mostly applied the product after using it for a month but nothing dramatic.
At the very high price of £27.00 and from a prestigious cosmetic brand like Dior I would honestly expect better. I was disappointed in the efficacy of this product for the reasons above. Personally I would save your money and not buy this product.
This product may carry the same name but it nowhere near compares to the efficacy of the Dior Forever Skin foundation which I previously reviewed.
